Kathryn Toolan Senior International Rights Manager

Kat Toolan joined Park & Fine (now Park, Fine & Brower) in 2021 and represents the agency in the global marketplace as Senior International Rights Manager. She also represents a small list of clients, and has a penchant for storytelling, in any form that may be. As an experienced rights manager, she negotiates publishing agreements outside of the United States for the agency, and works with PFB’s partners to execute strategy in all market territories. An all-around licensing enthusiast with a keen eye for numbers, she is committed to building strong relationships both home & abroad for PFB clients.

She began her career working for Dalkey Archive Press (now part of Deep Vellum) in her native Ireland before moving to New York in 2014 to work at Grove Atlantic, and then Archipelago Books. A former bartender, her driving force is client care. Kat holds a B.A. in English and Economics from University College Dublin and before joining the agency was with the rights department of Simon & Schuster. She lives in Queens, New York.
