Christine D’Ercole
Christine D’Ercole is a writer, speaker, competitive cyclist, an original Peloton Instructor, and the founder of Wordshop™, a workshop in self-talk. Her work focuses on the profound impact of self-talk on our mental health. Through storytelling and interactive journaling, Christine provides practical and powerful tools to help you navigate the terrain of deprecatory self-talk. By changing the words we use, we can reroute the mapping of our minds to create new neural paths and possibilities for the story of our lives.
Christine’s work covers topics including body image, addiction, loss, corporate culture, leadership, and team building. She is sought after by major corporations and organizations including Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, Shopify, Citibank, and the United Way. When she’s not writing, speaking, or teaching her work on a retreat, she can be found racing a bike with no brakes on a Velodrome somewhere in the world. She is a Masters World Champion and holds multiple Masters National titles.
As one of the original Peloton cycling instructors, Christine has designed singular classes that are rooted in the science of cycling and the power of self-talk. Her unique style of mindful motivation inspires members of the Peloton community, reaching thousands of devoted riders every day. She has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years.
A graduate of the Acting program at Carnegie Mellon University, she was awarded the Adelyne Roth Levine Award for Excellence in Acting and the Pauline Adamson Award in Fiction for her short story “Peeling the Sun” in 1995.
You can find Christine on Instagram @iamicaniwillido, getting her hands dirty in the garden, and in the kitchen with her husband, Brian. She enjoys cooking elaborate meals and renovating their late 1800s Dutch colonial home with her husband while tending to a very needy Mr. Cat, planning scuba trips, writing books, and baking cakes with her daughter, Victoria.
