Kelly Boys

Kelly Boys is a mindfulness trainer and consultant who specializes in the Deep Rest practice called yoga nidra. She has worked with the United Nations Foundation, where she co-developed a mindfulness and well-being program called “Peace on Purpose” for UN humanitarian and development workers on the front lines. She has delivered the Peace on Purpose program with key UN agencies from New York to the Middle East to Central Asia. She also trained UNICEF’s top global psychologists to teach the resilience program, which is now implemented across UN agencies with the support and guidance of the United Nations Foundation. Kelly also co-developed and directed the global facilitator training for Google’s mindfulness program called Search Inside Yourself. Her book The Blind Spot Effect was released in 2018 by Sounds True and has since been published in Spanish and Chinese. She has worked extensively with veterans and active duty servicemembers, inside prisons and at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s Wounded Warriors program.

Kelly is on the boards of Unlikely Collaborators and the Prison Yoga Project, and is core faculty for the Esalen Institute where she regularly teaches retreats. She advises The Way Meditation App and the sleep technology company Nocturnal, and also collaborates with Professor John Kao at Yale University to design and deliver Deep Rest experiences for students in his course on creativity.
