Trang Thanh Tran

Trang Thanh Tran is the New York Times and Indie bestselling author of She Is a Haunting and They Bloom at Night. They love writing speculative stories with a strong emotional core and have been honored as a Morris YA Debut Award finalist and Bram Stoker Award winner. They grew up in a big family in Philadelphia, then abandoned degrees in sociology and public health to tell stories in Georgia. When not writing, they’re over-caffeinating on iced coffee, watching zombie movies, and caring for two geriatric cats. Their third novel The Summoning of Tess Pham will be published with Bloomsbury in early 2027.
